Concert Programming

William Buhidar's bold approach to programming explores new avenues without compromising classical tradition. His success in this area has come through a thoughtful and attractive programming style, a sample of which follows:

• "Eine Kleine" Mozart highlighted repertoire composed during Amadeus' childhood such as his Piano Concerto No. 1, with child prodigy Christopher Bradley as soloist, and a concert version of "Bastien und Bastienne".

Four Seasons in Texas with recording artist Anton Miller in a "live" performance of Vivaldi's classic concerto cycle "The Four Seasons". The concert was accompanied visually with original commissioned photography of nature scenes from throughout the state of Texas.

Carmen - A Pocket Opera Version presented a uniquely designed concert version of Bizet's famous opera. With a specially scripted narration by Mr. Buhidar this effective production was enjoyed both by seasoned opera lovers and opera novices.

ERTÉ and His Music, a concert funded by The Meadows Foundation, focused on the music from operatic productions such as "La Bohème" and "Faust" which had been costumed by the artist ERTÉ.
